We have the support of the FA, Football Foundation and Leicestershire & Rutland Sport, to create what will be an amazing facility, providing a full size floodlit football pitch, with a "state of the art" 3G surface, providing a pitch, which is virtually weather proof and amongst the best playing surfaces available in the locality, enabling students to play sport all year round.

It will also benefit the local community, as it will be available for organised use beyond the school day. The benefit this will provide to the school during the day will, as you can imagine be incredible for the Students, but also provides benefits to the local community such as Desford FC and further afield.

We envisage, that the facility, will have a natural catchment, from Enderby to Market Bosworth in the East of Leicestershire, to Braunstone Town and beyond in the West. This will increase the opportunities for local teams, organisations and businesses to use the facilities for games, competitions, simple recreation and fitness opportunities, as the facility will be open until 10pm each week day and throughout weekends.

The total cost of the Project, is over £800,000, which is being raised via grant applications and fundraising events. Due to Covid 19, we have limited options for fundraising, so we are hoping to raise as much as we can, through this page.
