Story
In celebration of the 6 Nations tournament we are asking you to help us by getting active and joining our club challenge. As a club and community we will attempt to ‘travel’ the combined mileage from the clubhouse to each host stadium every week (virtually, of course!), a total of 7,138 miles.
We have organised this challenge as a great opportunity for you (whether a player, coach, parent or supporter) to take advantage of the physical and mental health benefits of exercise while rugby is on hold, and to do something together as a community. We are also seeking to use this challenge to raise much-needed funds for the club, which like many businesses and organisations, has been so badly affected by the COVID pandemic.
We have earmarked improvements to the indoor social spaces at the club, as well as the exciting development of an outdoor offering (which is likely to allow us to reopen the club’s hospitality settings earlier). These improvements will provide more comfort, more entertainment, and ultimately, more fun, to all sections of the club.
You can join in ideally by getting sponsored for your activity or just by donating if you can, to support our efforts to get our club back on track and ready to open our doors again as a community sports club..
