When the pandemic hit, the Berwick Old Age Pensioners Association was severely impacted. Lockdown meant that not only were they not able to hold their usual fundraising activities, but it also meant that their annual Christmas meal was cancelled. Upon hearing this I decided that if they couldn't go to their meal, then I would take something to them.

With the help of friends and family, and the support of several local businesses, for the past 4 years I have been able to put together bags filled with festive treats. Then, a week before Christmas, these are hand delivered to all the members of the Association.

Sadly the Association committee were no longer able to continue in their roles, and as such the Association ceased in 2022. By delivering these parcels it means the members still feel part of something and have something to look forward to at Christmas.
