I've raised £5000 to fund the opposition to an unsuitable housing development in Borden, Kent that will have a huge impact on the lives of the local community.

On 30th January 2019 Swale Conservative Councillors voted to approve the Wises Lane planning application.
This now includes a new link road from Borden Lane to Chestnut Street that is NOT part of the Swale Local Plan.
The new link road has been designed to take 1000’s of vehicles from the A2 London Road each weekday.
TO ACCESS THE NEW LINK ROAD THESE VEHICLES WILL HAVE TO USE OUR LOCAL ROADS.
Plus the new development will be of mostly 4 and 5 bedroom properties which do not meet the needs of local people and will generate hundreds of additional vehicles on our local roads.
All this will cause even worse congestion, make it dangerous for our children to walk to school and increase pollution levels across our area.
Please help us to raise the money required to pursue a legal challenge against Swale Borough Council and get this planning application changed for one that meets the needs of Sittingbourne residents.
