Story
Brad Jones #20 - BSB rider for iForce Lloyd & Jones BMW sustained serious head, chest and pelvis injuries at Brands Hatch last weekend (Saturday 24th July 2021) who remains in an induced coma.
Brad Jones (Bradders) is well known in the BSB paddock for the caring, polite but talented young man he is. Unfortunately a crash on lap 1 at Brands Hatch has left the 23 year old in Kings College Hospital, London in an induced coma after being airlifted from the circuit.
Brad has put up a strong fight despite his injuries and continues to do so. His head and chest injuries will not need surgery, however his pelvis injury will be operated on today (Thursday 29th July 2021) to stabilise the area. It is yet unknown to how long Brad will be kept in the induced coma but he is fighting every inch of the way and with all the support he has from the Motorsport community, friends and family we know he can do this!
Bradley has his parents and girlfriend at his bedside, all be it 230+ miles from their hometown.
We have had a lot of people asking how they can help, if they can make donations etc. Therefore we have set up this page for anyone who wishes to help cover the cost of keeping his family with him, his rehab and any further treatment he may need in the future.
There will be T-shirt’s, caps and stickers for sale at Brad’s home BSB round this weekend at Thruxton, should anyone wish to purchase these away from the track, please contact Lucy Calvert on Facebook and this can be arranged. Otherwise, a massive thank you from Brad’s family, friends and team who have been overwhelmed by the concerns and support.
It’s a tough time for them all, but they are with Brad every step of the way. If you could please refrain from contacting the family at this time, updates will be posted on here as Bradders moves forward. 💪🏽
The family would like to make it known that any money donated will be used to give Bradley the best possible recovery and anything that is left over will be donated to both the Air Ambulance and King College Hospital in London that have been outstanding! 💜
