Brad is a 21 year old young man , when he was a six month old baby he stopped breathing , after months in hospital Brad was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy , epilepsy and he’s also Blind this is due to brain damage that occurred while he wasn’t breathing due to lack of oxygen to the brain ! Brads current wheelchair is not suitable at all for his needs and he is unable to travel safely in it or even sit up properly supported ! Due to surgery last year Brads hips don’t support him properly and he needs a fully supported seating system to prop him up and let him take part in the activities he used to love doing . He is entitled to an NHS chair free of charge but the only one he has been offered wouldn’t allow him to do any of those things and would restrict his quality of life which is already very limited . Brad remains happy and smiley and anyone who knows him will know him for his massive very loud Hiyaaaa when he’s around 💙 this fund will hopefully raise money to allow us to get him the Chunk wheelchair privately to give him the freedom he so desperately needs to get out and about and stuck into the things he loves x your help is very much appreciated xx
