Story
Braiden Lee Prescott died in September 2016 after the third time of being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. 10 months later, they spoke to Callum Hesketh, MD of Impress UK who previously helped them with fundraising efforts, and they now want to set up a foundation in his name to raise funds for families who need financial benevolence for funding not available on the NHS.
This money will be used give small grants to the families in the Prescott's previous position in order to help them with the massive feat of raising the thousands needed for treatment and to help towards end-of-life care and funeral expenses.
Steph, Braiden’s mum added: “Losing Braiden made us realize how cruel and short life can be. Starting this fundraising campaign will give us closure knowing we will be making an impact to other families lives who are going through what we have been through.”
“I have been speaking to Steph and we have decided that we wanted to create a small foundation in Braiden's name which my company, Impress UK will manage. We are committed to raising at least £10k a year and this will be used for financial benevolence to families wherever is needed" - Callum |Hesketh, Managing Director Impress UK
The roles we will play-
1) Help people with Fundraising campaigns
2) Supporting families throughout their fundraising campaigns
3) Speaking to specialists on behalf of the families to see if and what trials are available
4) Pointing people in the right direction for help and support with none medical funding
5) Consulting and working with other charities with regards to research into all conditions that effect our families campaigns
6) Giving grants where applicable
