We are raising £1,000 for recovery support for Alex. Well we were - can we do £2000? £2500? £4000?

As many of you may know, Alex has suffered a stroke following a bleed on the right frontal lobe of the brain. He is in hospital in Chelmsford, which is where he was competing at the time.

For the moment he is stable and as ok as he can be. His speech is very mildly affected and he has no use of his left arm and limited use of his left leg. Obviously he now faces a fairly long and laborious rehabilitation once he regains some more movement in his limbs.

For now the aim is just to keep him stable. As well as no possibility of earning any income, we also have the care and upkeep of the horses to consider. In order to ensure that Bramble Barn is secure and Wyatt Equestrian has a home we are raising funds for Alex.
