    Story

Hello, this is a long long shot, but i am writing about my son James, who is 30 years old. James has Aspergers syndrome, and for the past decade has been traumatised with schizophrenia.Due to his mental state is personal hygiene has fallen well below par, and sadly due to this he has severe tooth decay, none of his teeth can be saved. In his present mental state we are unsure how he will deal with the actual trauma of going into hospital alone for the operation, but the aftermath of waking with no teeth.

We have been told by the dental team that many mentally ill people adapt to having no teeth quite well, we have been told his speech will be effected and is facial features will change. However as James' Mum i am not sure that he will be able to accept this procedure as easily as this, to make matters worse for myself, I am his legal deputy for affairs as he lacks capacity , so i had to sign for this procedure to take place. I know this is the right thing to do, as he gets infections etc and must be in a great deal of pain, although he never complains. If i could buy him new teeth rather than leave a young man of his age with no teeth i certainly would. This is where i am hoping you guys come into help.

If we could raise money to help James get a new set of teeth how amazing would this be, if we are fortunate enough to raise any help, i would thank you guys from the bottom of my heart, here's to having faith in humanity.
