Weʼve raised £202 to Help with legal costs in the investigation of a copyright issue, concerning using the late Kenny Johnson's music without permission.

Funded on Wednesday, 2nd October 2019

Don't have time to donate right now?

Kenny Johnson was a Merseyside born successful country music singer, working for BBC Radio Merseyside presenting Sounds Country, while also having a very successful career as a professional musician since the 1950 s He wrote a lot of his own material and was very dedicated to his work.

It has recently come to his wife's attention that his music has been re-released by a none existing company in November 2015, just one month after Kenny's passing.

Kenny's wife is seeking legal advice but this could be very costly, money which to be honest she has not got, naturally she is heartbroken as one of Kenny's requests to her was she would always try to protect his music.

For this reason we decided to set up this funding page, Kenny had lots of friends in the industry and also hundreds of fans from all the years he performed. Therefore if you could please find it in your heart to help us by making a small donation, it would mean a great deal to his lovely wife Chris, and also help honor Kenny's Wishes and his memory....

Thank you all in advance for your help in this heartbreaking situation.....
