I recently spent time in D’nipro, Ukraine where I lived in 2004-05 during the Orange Revolution. Ukrainians won my American heart back then and I could see their spirits that desperately sought freedom from Russian tyrany then and now, when I visited. I interveiwed an amazing man named Vlad who helps run the charitable organisation “Angel” which mainly assists children needing life-saving medicines as well as those who have become orphans due to the war. They also support refugees and Ukrainian Soldiers in need. My translator Tatiana did all translation for me to conduct a 15-minute interview with Vlad, which I’m sharing here for your review.
