Hi folks,

I've been giving the opportunity to help make a difference through the amazing charity, ALPs through their camino pilgrimage - The Portugese Way.

I thought it would be the perfect experience for one of my daughters to have so Aoibheann will also be joining me. She didn't need much persuading, a bit like me, Aoibheann knows the value of ALPs in our community.

This is a physical experience where we will walk from Porto to Valencia in six days - over 100km, at the end of July (23-30 July).

It's something that I have personally been thinking on doing for some time, we all know someone who is or has been affected by mental health issues and the work ALPS have done and continue to do is extraordinary. If I can help with their work in any way, I'm happy to do so. This belief was backbones by some photography I have done for them in the recent past - their Santa Grotto in Portglenone and the Antrim Masters v ALPS All Stars game in Portglenone. Both occasions were incredible and it was great to give something back to such a worthwhile charity.

It requires £1500 each of minimum fund raising, something that we are hoping is achievable. I'm planning on taking my camera and vlogging our journey in what promises to be an awesome experience.
