Story

On April the 13th I will be running my first ultra marathon in memory of my late great friend Craig Agar. Craig passed away last year following a road traffic accident.

I am trying to raise money to help with funding to put a memorial bench in place in the fields where Craig and his Fiance Abby used to walk their dog Chewy. A happy place for Abby to go and sit where she still walks to this day. Any money raised over the £600 will be given to the RAF Benovolent fund who helped Abby and the family.

The backyard ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 4.1 miles in less than one hour, which is a pace of 100 miles per 24 hours. The race is over when only one runner remains to complete a lap. With Craig being an avid Liverpool fan my target is going to be 96 miles. If I don’t complete the 96 miles I will fill all the remaining money my self.

I appreciate not all of you will of met or known Craig but any money, big or small would make a difference Criags family, friends and I would really appreciate it.

Thank you
