Weʼre raising £4,000 to help fund Brew Walks CiC; an urban mindful walking project, designed to boost wellbeing, mental health and connect people to nature.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

The idea for Brew Walks was born of a habit we developed to support our own wellbeing. This increased massively during lockdown. Taking our brews for a walk was an easy way to get out of the house, stretch our legs and rest our minds. Soon other people caught on and they decided to make Brew Walks a 'thing' too.

We want more people to be able to go for a Brew Walk and feel the benefits of getting outside, walking and taking your favourite brew round the block.

We are about to start hosting group walks in and around Salford and Greater Manchester so we can support people to be present, connect with nature and their local community.

As well as hosting walks we are creating lots of resources for people to go on solo walks so they can connect to green spaces in their local community with some guidance from us.

Our mission is to help our local community go for a mindful walk with their brew to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
