Story

We as a club are looking to raise additional funds in order to help us acquire a set of floodlights for New Dundas Park, which is now a SFA 2019 entry level license requirement.

As we own our own ground this is something we will need to purchase ourselves and is a large outlay for the club to try and find. We are looking at a number of ways to help fund floodlights at the ground to help with the purchase. The total costs for the necessary planning permission required, acquisition of the necessary capital equipment and installation of same is predicted to be a significant five figure sum. Potential funding from third parties is currently underway but the numbers if successful will be small in comparison to the predicted total expenditure that will be incurred, with the shortfall coming from existing club funds.

I have set this page up to help raise funds for the purchase of floodlights by entering into the Edinburgh Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 26th May, with a view to trying to get under my target time of 2 hours. Any funds raised on this page will be ringfenced and go solely towards the acquisition and installation of floodlights.

Thanks for looking at this page and also thanks in advance if you choose to sponsor me. It is much appreciated both by me and everyone associated with Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic.
