Story

Our wonderful Brian Bailey who was loved by so many tragically and suddenly passed away on the 17th of July.

Despite his illnesses which made every day difficult and painful for him he was an exceptionally strong man, he always tried his best at everything he ever did in his life. However, his strength was tested over and over, until as a result he was pushed too far..

When Brian was younger he attended Chelmsford Secondary School, many of the friends he met there are still his friends today. He used to work hard on the land with his mother and sister many many years ago when he was just in his twenties, before his disability and illness became so bad that he was to unwell to work, but he would always reminisce about those days like it was yesterday..

Brian did not have life insurance or any savings and we are unable as a family to cover the funeral costs, as well as everything associated with the funeral such as a headstone for him. Its devastatingly difficult to try to handle one thing after the other and to then know that we cant do something as simple as giving him a Goodbye that he deserves..

I know my uncle Brian had many friends and I hope you will all donate just a little to help us reach his goal to give him a funeral that is close to being as good as he deserves! Brian used to say to us..

When I die put me in an Asda box and be done with it.

If you know Brian well im sure you can imagine him saying that! He joked about everything, when he was upset he’d still crack a joke, but what sticks out more in our memories is whenever we were upset he would be the one to crack a joke and cheer us up even if he wasn't feeling so great himself. His love of music, dancing, joking and just having fun will always be the memory that follows him..

Thank you for you help in giving the most wonderful Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandad, Brother- In Law, Father -In Law, Stepson, Friend and everything in between a funeral that is fit for this Bailey..
