Over the years ive met many people suffering from various different mental health issues aswell as experiencing my own anxiety . it can be a very scary place and often is not understood. Recently a close school friend tragically committed suicide after struggling with his own mental health problems. it became to much for him to deal with and he decided he could no longer continue with the struggles. unfortunately this story is all to frequent , the stigma is slowly changing and the fantastic work that Mind carry out to support people and make sure they are not alone in dealing with their issue s helps many to have some hope in what seems such a hopeless cause. I'm taking part in 2 half marathons and then a charity football game raising funds so that mind can continue their inspirational work in the future and continue to help many people who feel that their is no way out of the problems that they face every day.
