My Personal story

My name is Brian. I am a Scottish army veteran who suffers from PTSD.

In 2016, I completed A 6 weeks ( ITP ) Intensive treatment program at combat stress, in Ayr, Scotland which is designed for veterans suffering from mental health problems. While in the army I attempted suicide and took an overdose due to the unknowing and the lack of knowledge of my mental health issues and how I could cope with these inner problems. Suffering from PTSD can be difficult at times. It takes a special kind of person to understand how to handle someone who tends to fall into "a dark place" and re-lives traumatic experiences.

Lucky for me, I found that person almost 11 years ago and am so grateful to have her at my side when I need her the most. Thank you for loving me and never feeling that I'm just too broken!

My aim

Is to overcome this long road to recovery, How I deal with my mental health issues - I make a wide range of paracord bracelets as a way to distract my mental health and zone out.
