We are all devasted at the passing of our dear Sam, a wonderful friend, brother, Son, Husband and Father. His larger than life attitude made him such a loved member of our Community in Guisborough, but also in the Royal Marines which he served with bravery and valour. Sam was let down by local authorities and after a distinguished career in the Royal Marines the Government's claims to support armed forces veterans but us family and friends will not let him down.

His biggest battle was with mental health and he just could not fight anymore. He leaves his young wife Holly and three children 3 years old and younger. Holly is currently trying to start a career in the NHS and is currently working for nothing. His loss is immeasurable to them and we will support them as families do with love and also financially but we are asking for any help the wider world would be willing to give.

God bless you all and Rest in Peace Sam you will be badly missed by everyone who knew you.
