Story

Chethan N was my caddie at weekend golfing during my stay in India (7 yrs. for work purposes). He is incredibly enthusiastic about golf and dreamed of one day of becoming a professional golfer. His background is that of a poor farmers son, from Nandi Hills, Bangalore and was caddying at the golf club to support himself and family. What amazed me about Chethan, was not just his enthusiasm but he mathematical intelligence, ability to determine the yardage to the green in yards / meters and he had a great eye for the putting line. He was always polite, encouraging and focused on my game. I decided 2016 to sponsor Chethan and arranged a coach at the T.G.S. Golf Academy in Kolar Karnataka where he has excelled and now playing scratch golf. He will be going to the I.G.U. (Indian Golf Union) Professional Qualifying Tournament in January 2020. With only 6 months left to the qualifying tournament the dream may come to a halt - not because of Chethan's dedication. It is because of this I am asking for your help to fund Chethan's last 8 months to help him become a professional golfer - the next Shubhankar Sharma.
