Brian's Summer 2026 Walk!

Let's Support Brian Every Step of the Way

Brian is taking on an extraordinary challenge this June, and we'd love our whole community to get behind him.

Between 8th and 23rd June, he intends to walk from Helensburgh on the Firth of Clyde, near Loch Lomond, all the way to Lindisfarne.

That's 14 days, around 180 miles, following the John Muir Way and the Forth to Farne Way - a beautiful but demanding journey across Scotland and down to Holy Island.

Brian is inviting sponsorship, and every penny raised will be shared half for disabled access at St Paul's, Brompton‑on‑Swale, and half for Tearfund, the Christian charity working to tackle poverty and respond to major emergencies around the world.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support both our own church's welcome and accessibility, and the wider work of compassion beyond our parish.
