The 15th World Scout Moot will be held in the dramatic landscape of Iceland in 2017. 5000 participants and 1000 helpers from 80 countries around the world will join together in Summer 2017 to embark on 9 days of adventure, fun and discovery.

The theme of the moot is change. All members of the UK contingent will embrace change on their journey to The Moot, whether this is in their own lives or their local community.

I will be living with 10 people forming an international patrol base camp which will experience activities, camp and live together during the event. The first four days of the Moot (The Expedition) will take place at one of ten stunning locations throughout Iceland. Activities will combine action, adventure, environment, community and culture. During the final 5 days of the Moot, all participants will come together for one large camp (Althingi) to share their experiences.
