I've raised £200 to Bridge For All - A Vocational School that provides basic English trainings in Myanmar.

Background: The continuous political and racial turmoils in Myanmar, one of the least developed countries in the world, created a dire educational system. The opportunity of learning English provided by the public school is rare and far from proficient. However, these physical constraints do not hinder these students' desire to pursue knowledge and success.
The purpose of our program: Bridge For All, a.k.a B4A, was set up in 2012 to meet the demand of these diligent students. Currently, with 41 full-time students, it takes in the form of a boarding school. The program lasts for one year and the students will receive intense English training. We aim at cultivating future community leaders for Myanmar. Apart from providing English courses, social inclusion projects will be conducted by students. They will visit around the local community and education institutes to advocate for social issues concerned.
What we need: The physical conditions of the school is unsatisfactory. Students live and study in a school compound built with dried leaves, wood and bamboo. Electricity supply is not guaranteed and learning materials are insufficient. To meet the increasing demand of students, an expansion plan is being carried out. we are in desperate need of a new student dormitory, a new bathroom as well as more reading materials.
