Story

By bringing remarkable people together we can solve the world’s seemingly impossible problems. We partner with leaders and enter some of the world's most volatile and fragile societies to prepare people who want to change the world with the leadership skills to do it.

We are raising funds to support The Kalinga Fellowship, a global fellowship of business leaders, governments and civil society leaders that aims to end sexual violence against women and children on a global scale.

Violence against women and children is a largescale problem. Although the law protects women’s and children’s rights in most countries, there are still patriarchal societies that devalue women as human beings.

For instance, in India, an estimated 70% of women are at some point victim of domestic violence. There is both psychological and sexual violence: rape, gang rape and marital rape are commonplace. In India an episode of sexual violence occurs every 20 minutes and the issue continues with forced child marriage, human trafficking and abduction.

Change in this case is both a matter of prevention and intervention.

Fundraising for the Kalinga Fellowship will help dedicated leadership and strategy events to go ahead helping to break through strategies that will enhance the safety of women and children worldwide.
