Nepal is one of the least developed countries in the world. For many the only way to survive is to sell their children to unscrupulous human traffickers who offer a better life but in reality are trading them to the cess pools of sexual, physical and emotional abuse across Asia. Having myself been offered to take a child from a mountain village by a desperate parent I have been involved in support the work of Bridges Nepal who work in a region of Nepal to help communities to resist trafficking their children. Now in 2018 we are establishing a Charity to raise funds for this type of work in all of Nepal. I am therefore running a Mountain Half Ironman to raise funds for this work
