Hello, my name is Bridget and welcome to my page.

This year is a milestone as I reach the age of 60yrs.

I want it to be memorable by making an impact on the lives of cancer patients in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. There is no funding for cancer patients and the nearest thing they have to MacMillan is Tulips. Tulips is a 30 yr old charity that struggles daily to meet the needs of cancer patients especially since Covid. Tulips will help anyone diagnosed with cancer in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, irrespective of their nationality.

To celebrate the occasion I am organising a Mini Moon Walk in aid of Tulips which will be approximately 7.5km. This will take place on the evening of my birthday, 26th July 2024. We will start the walk at 8pm and finish at Driftwood Restaurant, Lapta.

I will be walking in the moonlight, wearing my decorated bra. If you are brave enough, male or female, I invite you to join me. So, pick up a bra, bling it up and wear it with pride.

If you are unable to attend then please feel free to do your own walk wherever you are in the world and donate to this page but let me know how many kilometres/miles you have walked. My goal is to see how many marathons’ we can collectively complete in this one evening

I have lost many friends and colleagues through cancer and some going through their own personal battle at the moment, as I am sure many of you have.

I do not wish for any birthday gifts only for you to support my quest in raising money for Tulips; this is one charity that is very close to my heart.
