My friend Geraldine has been bravely and courageously fighting breast cancer for the last 5 years. Geraldine was told very early on that her condition was treatable but not curable, the cancer quickly traveled to her lymph glands, lungs and brain. She has and still continues to fight this horrendous disease with everything she has. Recently Geraldine and her family were told that her brain tumor was no longer treatable and had become aggressive.

Geraldine has a 21 year old daughter called China. China has been and continues to be her absolute rock throughout battling this horrendous disease. Recently I started to think about how I could help Geraldine & China enjoy some special times together whilst they can. So I have decided to run a half marathon, the Vale of York on Sept 10th in order to raise some money to help them enjoy some special times together. I have known Geraldine since we were 21 yrs old she is a salt of the earth character and would do anything for anyone and over the years has helped many people. Geraldine is well thought of and has a big circle family & friends all of which I am reaching out to through this page. I am asking family, friends, work colleagues past & present if you would like to help me with this cause by making a donation it would be much appreciated.
