I'm raising £ 2,500 for disability support

**Bridging Brains: Our Journey of Progress**

Over the past nine months, *Bridging Brains* has embarked on a transformative journey, working closely with specially-abled children and their families. As a non-profit, non-judgmental organisation, we've built a supportive community united by a shared mission to create lasting, positive change. Thanks to the generous funds raised during the Birmingham Ugadi Utsavalu, we’ve been able to offer all our services completely free of charge since day one.

Our unwavering commitment to making a difference continues, thanks to the ongoing support of our community. Together, we are changing lives through a range of enriching activities and projects designed to empower children and their families.

**Making a Difference, Together**

With the dedication of our families, we’ve organised a variety of educational, recreational, and skill-building activities. These include dance, music, drumming, gardening, sports, picnics, and expert talks. We are also providing free educational resources through Twinkl ,to make our services limitless. Our community involvement is also a priority, with initiatives such as litter-picking, where everyone works together to make a tangible impact. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to engage the children, keeping their individual needs and interests at the forefront.

Our current arts and crafts Christmas project is in full swing, offering children the opportunity to express their creativity in a fun and supportive environment. This project nurtures their artistic potential and sparks imaginative thinking.

**Supporting Each Other**

As parents of neurodivergent children, our forum meetings provide a valuable space for mutual support and knowledge sharing. Recent expert talks have had a profound impact, inspiring many parents to prioritize self-care, meditation, and healthier lifestyle changes. These sessions also equip parents with practical strategies for managing child behaviour, strengthening their ability to support their children effectively.

**Bridging Communities**

Our mission goes beyond supporting our immediate community. We’re dedicated to bridging the gap between neurodivergent individuals and the broader society. By inviting volunteers from neurotypical families to participate, we foster a deeper understanding of the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals and promote greater inclusivity.

**Every Penny Counts**

We ensure that every donation is fully utilized to benefit this incredible community service. Your support is vital in helping us continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children and their families.

Thank you for being an essential part of our journey. Together, we can continue to create a more inclusive, supportive, and empowered community for all.
