I've raised £12500 to help the club overcome current financial pressures following the null and void of the 2019/20 season.

Following the fortunes of Bridgwater Town Football Club has certainly had its ups and downs in recent years. From the ecstasy of reaching the Southern League West Play off Final in 2009/10, to the agony of the challenging season of 2016/17 which saw the club relegated to the Western League and almost cease to exist.
A new committee was formed and in recent seasons our objective has been to reverse the club’s fortunes both on and off the pitch by building an ambitious and sustainable club integrated and supported by the local community whilst adhering to our adopted mantra of ‘Better Never Stops’.
Times like these help us to reflect that there is so much more to life than football. We are very proud that, over the past three years, we have helped raise over £25,000 for local charities that support the most vulnerable in our society. It remains our wish to continue being able to maintain that commitment going forward.
With the 2019/20 season being made null and void, and with football coming to end in mid-March, all of our revenue streams immediately ceased. As a consequence, the club’s ability to meet our current and future overheads has been severely compromised. Additionally, we have been forced to call a halt to our plans to invest further in pitch improvement and the upgraded equipment required to maintain it.
We are hoping that, with the help of supporters, former players, local businesses and the wider community we can raise £12,500 to help offset the short and medium term financial pressures currently being experienced.
Of course, we absolutely appreciate that these are incredibly tough and unprecedented times for us all, and are mindful of the huge sums that are, so deservedly, being raised in support of health related charities.
Any donation at all will be really appreciated and will make a real difference in helping us to continue the process of rebuilding the club we all love.
We hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and well in these very testing times and look forward to seeing you at Fairfax Park when the time is right.
Best Regards
