I've raised £1000 to help a neighbour raise money for physio after a bad accident

Peddling the Pond for Philip
A few months ago I set myself a challenge of cycling around Lough Neagh on 26th August 2018 to complete ‘Lap the Lough’. As a novice cyclist, I have been busy training since then in order to complete the 97 mile course. What is driving me on is the hope that I can raise some funds to help a local lad, Philip Glasgow, in his journey of recovery from a serious accident. Through my work I have got to know Philip and his mum. I witness his sheer determination and it amazes me how he is not letting this beat him. We could all learn so much from him. Every penny of funds raised will entitle him to receive more physio and occupational therapy as resources for this can be limited. Here is Philip’s story:
Philip Glasgow, 27, from Killycurragh outside Cookstown, suffered an accident in February 2017 when he fell from a two storey roof while working.
He sustained a severe brain injury amongst multiple other injuries. Although he has already made a remarkable recovery he still has a significant way to go regarding his mobility.
Philip and I would be very grateful for your support in both my journey around the Lough and his journey through recovery. Thank you, Briege McCann
