I've raised £750 to Cycle from Brussels to Brighton in aid of the Brighton & Hove Mayor's Charities

Hi,
i’ve crazily volunteered to cycle from Brussels to Brighton in May of this year. That’s a long way for someone who doesn’t even own a road bike! However, for those of you that know me, I’m always up for a challenge/adventure/laugh/good cause.
The Brussels2Brighton Charity Cycle Ride 2018 is raising funds for the Mayor's Charities of Brighton and Hove. On Thursday 3rd May 2018 we will be setting off from the British Airways i360 and heading to Brussels to then begin our 4 day cycle back to Brighton via Aalst, Bruges and Lille to arrive back into Brighton on Sunday 6th May. I'm hoping it's fairly flat, but have heard it's not! Damn you, Belgium. Apparently the beer is good, so that should help....
Following on from previous years, we are raising funds for The Martlets Hospice, RISE and the Sussex Heart Charity and some of my team members have some very personal links with some of these charities.
The Brighton & Hove Property Consortium is a group of local property professionals with the common goal of creating an annual cycling event to raise funds for these very important charities. We've all committed to raising a minimum of £750 to take part in this event so that we reach our fundraising goal of £50,000 - I would really appreciate your help in assisting me reach my target and hence our overall goal.
The event will be publicised by Juice 107.2 FM and The Latest TV Group as our media partners. A film crew from Latest TV will accompany us throughout the event documenting our progress and profiling the sponsors involved plus there will be daily live phone-ins with the team to Juice 107.2 FM.
Previous years’ events have now raised a combined total in excess of £100,000 which has made a huge difference to the charities involved. Please help us keep this event going and support our committed team.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
Much appreciated.
