Brightwater Research is a UK based cancer drug research charity (charity number 1191048). Our new lung cancer drug Valoxydin®️ has completed its initial laboratory testing phase but we have a long way to go to get it through clinical trials and available for use.

Valoxydin®️, an anti-metastatic drug, targets the formation of secondary tumours (or metastases) in the body to stop the primary cancer from spreading. Testing shows that the drug potentially reduces the spread of lung cancer significantly.

At this stage, we are looking to test the drug against other non-hormonal cancers such as kidney and bowel cancer and to progress the lung cancer work to clinical trials.
