PLEASE HELP US BRING ALEX HOME...WE NEED TO RAISE £25,000... On the 17th of July a perfectly healthy 38 year old Alexandra Hajipavlis and her six year old daughter Jaideen had made their way to Birmingham airport to begin their 3week holiday in Greece. On the aircraft after take-off Alexandra had a stroke which led her into a coma Jaideen had called for help. Luckily there was a doctor on board who ordered the pilot to perform an emergency landing here in Brindinsi Italy. Test results have shown that Alexandra has an extremely rare condition called CEREBRAL AIR EMBOLISM which is a rare cause of stroke. Divers suffer this from rapid ascent. All this began from what is called a BULLA in the lung that expanded in high altitude and released air bubbles which travelled to her brain. Alexandra is fighting for her life, we are asking for help to bring Alexandra home to the Q.E hospital who have the best neurological Doctors in the world. Please give as much or as little as you can we need all the help possible as the Air ambulance will cost £25,000. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, Natalie Shakkara and Jaideen here in Italy xxxI’m pleased to announce ALEX IS COMING HOME!!! Together we have raised the funds needed for her flight. She still has a long journey to recovery & will continue to keep fighting! I would like to say a personal Thank you to everyone as the love & support we have received has been breath-taking.
