    Story

In August 2016 our families life changed after John suffered a life changing accident. John fell down the stairs of his home in Silksworth, after suffering an epileptic seizure. The fall was witnessed by John's wife, Claire and daughter, Jennifer.

The last 12 months have been torture for John, his wife and two children, nine year old daughter and 17-year-old Jon. His accident has lead to the prognosis that John will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair due to paralysis from the waist down.

John was a happy, loving family man before this terrible accident despite health problems stemming from a brain infection ten years ago. John remained in James Cook University hospital, Middlesbrough, for nine months and underwent intensive rehabilitation. He has now been moved to a care home in Peterlee until we can Bring John Home.

Claire and Jennifer visit John daily and did when he was in hospital, with a very long and tiring round trip. Our family are desperate to get their family back together.

This is where you can all help. John is unable to come home as the family home is not adaptable or accessible for John due to the wheelchair, specialist equipment and hoists.

Due to these circumstances, Claire and John will have to sell their family home and we need your help to raise money to make bringing John home possible. We need to raise as much money as possible to by an adapted bungalow.

Please help in any way that you can, and give what you can to help give this well deserving family the chance of a comfortable life together.
