Story

We are a young Keyworth family trying to raise a £1000 reward for the return of our beloved dog, Poppy after she vanished on Sunday 15th December 2019 from our home

I have been in touch with all the normal places to help find her – local vets and rescue centres, Highways England, dog wardens, Network Rail, builders and circulated her details on social media in a bid to locate our 4 year old X Terrier. An appeal for poppy has been broadcast on 103 The Eye Radio, her story published in the Nottingham Post, and will be featured on ITV news.

Poppy is chipped and spayed and disappeared our quiet family home in Keyworth. There have been no sightings since. Family, friends and numerous villagers have scoured the area where she was last seen and volunteers from animal rescue charities have tirelessly searched the area on foot and with drones.

It is out of character for her to run off and not come back, she has severe seperation anxiety although she is very friendly and will come to anyone who calls her for fuss. Poppy accompanies me pretty much everywhere and cries at the window if she cannot come with me. She likes to take her spot in the passenger seat next to me Whenever I go out in the car.

We’re desperate to get Poppy back, it is particularly poignant at this time with Christmas Being a very sad occasion in her absence , and seeing in the new year without her was heartbreaking. My three young children are deveatated. When I tried to maintain the Christmas spirit by writing letters to Santa, my eldest two both just said they want Poppy back, nothing else.

Lots of people mistake her for a pup as she is so incredibly friendly but she is actually 4 years old. She is mostly black with a white snout and grey wisps all over, white toes a white-tipped tail.

Poppy has a phone number and address on her green collar she was wearing when she was last seen, which has a silver metal bone ID disc.

Please help us to bring back our beloved Poppy we cant bear this any longer.
