I've raised £50000 to help Bristol's food and farming communities get back on their feet after the Covid-19 outbreak

Our farmers, food producers and restaurants are facing an unprecedented moment of crisis across the industry.
Covid-19 has hit our food and farming communities hard.
Whilst the government package of business relief has offered some support, the economic impact for many food businesses is going to take much longer to recover from.
We are working tirelessly to adapt our food supply systems in the face of unprecedented production challenges, to ensure that we continue to bring food in from the fields, deliver meals safely to your doors and keep our nation well-fed.
Helping our food community to survive this crisis is essential and immediate work. Many chefs and farmers, cheese-makers and brewers, growers and fishermen are not going to make it. Our nation’s food security matters more now than ever before. We cannot afford to lose them.
If you would like to help the industry get back on their feet once this crisis has past, please consider donating to the Bristol Food Fund. We will use these funds, once the immediate crisis has passed to issue small grants to Bristol restaurants, food producers and local farmers to help with specific issues that have arisen as a result of the Corona crisis. It might be funds to restock the kitchen, or to pay-off an outstanding bill. We aim to help in small ways to ensure the maximum number of food businesses continue to stay open.
