This week Hurricane Irma wreaked havoc across the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. In what has been described as an 'apocalyptic storm', Hurricane Irma has caused extensive damages to the houses and livelihoods of the residents on the islands. The residents who braced themselves for the storm are now emerging to find they have no power, no water supply and houses with roofs ripped from their rafters. Everything they have worked hard for is gone and they need our help to re-build their lives. Now is the time for us to pull together and start helping our fellow citizens in this time of need. So if its a penny, a pound or hundreds of pounds, anything will be a worthy and gratefully received contribution!
