On 26th April 2025, Broad Haven Playgroup sustained catastrophic damage to it's outdoor classroom and equipment.

The damage was caused by a burst sewage pipe on the grounds where it is housed, pumping raw sewage into the area and contaminating everything.

Due to the health and safety risk posed to the 2-4 year olds cared for in the setting, it is necessary to dispose of and replace all equipment, fencing and storage units.

This is a devastating blow.
The playgroup re-located just 18 months ago and the fixtures, fencing and storage have all been custom built and installed at this time- some is as little as 2 months old.

As a registered charity, the majority of the equipment and and fixtures in this area were funded by grants and donations from local businesses and individuals.

The devastation of this area will cost thousands to rebuild and replace.

We are reaching out for your help to raise £1000, for the playgroup to begin reparations and continue to operate our little playgroup by the sea with as little disruption to the children as possible.

We set up this page in response to the huge support and outreach already received and are so very grateful for any and all donations to assist in our time of crisis.
