In June next year I will be travelling to Kenya for 2 weeks to help people living in extreme poverty by improving the infrastructure in their community. Along with 17 others, we will either be building a new classroom to enable children to access viral primary education or providing a clean water supply to a village in desperate need. We are all very much looking forward to the project and the difference we will make to these people's lives will have such a huge impact on them. It will also be a very memorable experience for us all and will highlight just how privileged we are to live with such luxuries daily. To participate in the project we each need to raise around £3000. This money will go towards flights, food, accommodation and building materials for the people we are helping. I will be fundraising throughout the next year to raise funds but every donation no matter how small will be greatfully received and will go a very long way.
