Story
My friend, Waldek, was injured during his professional work on a construction site in central London. A concrete block fell four metres and broke his helmet, and caused multiple crush fractures to his spine. Months after surgery, he has begun to walk again.
Sadly, Waldek can no longer work in the profession he loves and is so good at: builder/decorator. This is how I met and became friends with Waldek. He completely renovated and beautified my flat - the photo is from that time. I have never seen anyone work so hard and to such a high standard. Along with his incredible focus, he had a great sense of humour, too.
Now, Waldek is unable to pay his monthly rent, and support his wife and young daughter. He needs help with his medical needs and living expenses. Medical needs: £200/month, Rent: £450/month, Family Expenses £300/month.
I extend great thanks and admiration for any contribution you can make. Every penny will go to Waldek to help ease his present situation and to help him find his future.
