Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Bromsgrove Community Pantry is organised by the community for the community.
It will be a place for everyone in Bromsgrove, regardless of status, to find free, surplus food within the sell-by dates from reputable suppliers and supermarkets. The #CommunityPantry will be open to all in the community, as a place for neighbours, volunteers and anyone who just wants a chat and a cup of tea, to come along and socialise, meet new people and support their community. All are welcome!
In order for us to kick start the Bromsgrove community pantry we need your support.Not only do we require volunteers but we also require the funds to keep this project going. We are in need of insurance for the building, fuel for our drivers, and equipment for the volunteers and venue. Anything you can give to support the Bromsgrove community pantry is much appreciated.

We've started a crowdfunding page to help to cover the cost of insurance for the venue of the Bromsgrove Community Pantry, transportation and fuel costs of the food supplies by the volunteers, equipment and any other necessities arising during the running of the Pantry.
