    Story

I rescue and care for sick and/or injured wild European Hedgehogs.

These animals have been on the planet for at least 15 million years and are considered to be one of the last remaining dinosaurs. From pesticides to poisons, rat traps, netting, ponds with no escape routes, mowers, shears and strimmers these little guys have so many dangers to face, not to mention abuse by people and even sometimes dog attacks.
When the hogs are well enough, they are released back into the wild.

It takes a lot of time, money and effort to do this, and the medicine and food costs keep mounting. I do this because I care about them and their numbers around the UK are in decline. I do it because they're such sweet animals and are such a great visitor to our gardens.

I am grateful for any assistance offered, even £1.00 helps. Thank you!

I run a small hedgehog rescue. I am completely self-funded and the more hedgehogs I help, the more money I need for medicines, food, and other essentials. I spend a great deal of time, effort, and love nursing these little animals back to health.
