I love to run and occasionally I feel the need to do something a bit bonkers. A few years ago, I promised the wonderful team at Putnoe Scout Group that my next big race would be for them. Then I broke my toe...and my Dad died... and I lost my mojo. Well the mojo is back and in April, at the start of.my 50th year, I will be running 50 miles around the South Downs.

Putnoe Scout Group is an amazing group that makes a huge impact on the lives of young people. Through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, two of my children (Eira and Jonah) have grown in skills, confidence and maturity and have had numerous amazing adventures along the way. I was also a cub leader for a few years and should not forget to mention the adventures that I had along the way!

Help me to help Putnoe Scout Group continue to support the young people of Bedford and help make the pain of a 50 mile run worthwhile!
