Story

Brook was born 7 weeks early weighing just 3lb 13oz. He was born with a problem where his food pipe had a hole in and needed an emergency operation to correct this leaving his mummy at Hastings while he was rushed to Brighton hospital with daddy splitting the family. The surgery went well and he was making a speedy recovery and amazing everyone at the hospital how quickly he was getting better. Coming off of his ventilator and responding to treatment. He was then given milk as feeds and seemed to be digesting it well, little did the doctors know it was triggering and metabolic disorder causing him to go down hill very quickly leaving everyone puzzled. Unfortunately he didn't improve and he suffered complete liver failure leading to having High blood pressure and bleeding as hes blood couldn't clot. As a result he was rushed to kings college hospital in London and was told he might not make the trip there. Since then Brook is still fighting, still doing everyone proud and amazing doctors. He will need a liver transplant but that will only be considered if he can stabilise. Due to his liver not working at all he has developed bleeds to his stomach and lungs, he also had high level of ammonia in his blood which can lead to brain damage so doctors done something never done before and put Brook on a dialysis machine to filter the ammonia from his blood. This was a massive risk as his so small and again mum and dad were told to expect the worst. But still this little superhero fights on and still Amazing doctors. He's will to survive and fight is truly Inspiring. I'm raising money so this amazing little boy of 2 weeks can have his mummy and daddy stay with him in london for as long as it takes for him to come closer to home. This little hero deserves them there with him to carry on being as proud as they are of him And to be together as a family
