Story

On Sunday 17th March, I will be running the Brentwood Half Marathon, I will be running on behalf of the AA Dog Rescue.

AA Dog Rescue is dedicated to saving 'pound dogs'. These are dogs who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves placed in council pounds where they have 7 days in which to be claimed or go into rescue.

Unfortunately, there are only so many rescue spaces available and when their 7 days are up, if they are still there, they are put to sleep at the pound! They do their utmost to get them out, but dogs are being put to sleep by the pounds at an average of 200 dogs per day!

It costs AADR approximately £99 per dog per month for food etc. On top of this there are costs like medicine for dogs that need immediate attention after rescue.

I would like to raise a minimum of £100, any donations would be greatly appreciated as little as £1. Thank you
