Story
After 50 years in business Broom Farm Riding School had to shut the doors for the first time due to the Cornavirus.
Even though the doors are shut for our large group of fantastic supporters and riders its 'business as normal' for us on the farm.
We still have many mouths to feed, feet to trim, medication to give and other animals to care for and this comes with a great cost.
What makes us so unique is that, as soon as a horse arrives on our farm, it stays there for the rest of its life. We never sell any of our horses, even if they are unable to work for the riding school that has always been our policy and our main focus is the welfare of the horse.
This means that we have many retired horses in their late 20s/early 30s that require a lot of care. Any money the riding school makes goes straight back to the animals.
We hope that this will all end for everyone soon and we cant wait to see everyone old and new back with us but for now we are asking for a wee bit of generosity!
The oldies like Tanya, Sonny, Sparky, Bonnie, Toby; the favourites like Patch, Nell, Robbie; the other animals like Mini the cow, Harry the sheep, Chirpy the peahen, Angus the miniature goat and the many other friendly faces that have given lots of people so much enjoyment and pleasure over many years really appreciate any help you can give during this time!
