    Story

    Hi!

For a shorter period this summer (2018) I was a volunteer at the Sokoine Primary school in Moshi, Tanzania. A great school, with great teachers caring for the students and students hungrier to learn that would make Swedish students seem spoiled. A big problem noticed there when taking part of the classes was first of all that the classes were so big. Each class consisted of approximately 50 students and one teacher.

They currently have three laptops and grade 6 have the ITC/data classes for one hour each week. But as it was each student could only use the computer for an average of 1 minute each. Not optimal.

The goal with this fund raiser is to try to collect some funds to be able to purchase laptops that are deemed to be "too old" by corporations and purchase them at a lower cost. The goal is to purchase at least five computers.

    Thanks in advance!
