Story

My aim, along with my experienced team, is to provide a safe and welcoming environment, where your partner, relative or friend can relax and join in activities which suit their abilities.

This will provide you with the reassurance that when we collect your partner, relative or friend, you can go about your daily business worry free, until they are returned.

All donations will be used to fund the use of a mini bus, which will allow our dementia clients to visit local attractions and activities on a weekly basis, providing extra respite for their partners/carers our web site

Our first dementia days out was a great success, thanks to our volunteers, staff and everyone who helped at the Pitt Rivers museum. We are also starting two more 'Dementia Active' groups in Holton near, Oxford so we really need as much cash as possible, so any help really is appreciated ! Aiming to have a group running in Oxfordshire everyday by our 1st birthday, 14th December, 4 running, 1 more to go. https://dementiactive.co.uk/donations-and-items #dementia #dementiaactive #dementiaawareness #cognitivestimulationtherapy #ShareTheOrange

Thank you all so much, on the basis of what has already been donated we have now launched our Dementia days out, fortnightly starting on 7th Oct. We will aim to take 10 clients out. Hopefully after the swim tomorrow we will have enough to make it a permanent weekly event helping more sufferers on a regular basis.
