What are we doing?
On Sunday 29th of July, 10 members of the Browns team will be taking part in the Yorkshire Tough Mudder event. The course is 10 miles long and includes 20 obstacles. We will be ducking, diving, rolling, jumping, getting wet, getting electrocuted all to raise money for 3 local causes.
Penny's fund
Penny’s Fund was established in 2010 by friends and family of Penny Wheeler of Belper to raise the funds needed to provide Penny with vital medical equipment. Every year they host the Belper Games, an amazing weekend of music, it's a knockout style competition and plenty of other attractions. Unfortunately Penny passed away in December 2012. Since then Penny's fund has continued and splits all the money raised between three charities:
The Scleroderma Society
Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust
Ataxia UK
