Story

The Rivera of the east has been a suppressed country for 70 years. Proud Hungary and the Hungarians are trying to re build itself as a destination for leisure and business. The Hungarian fire service is one of the few services in Europe with a totally volunteer fire service. Each village has its own fire engine paid for by the local council and these are often old and need to be replaced. a groups of Swiss parliamentarians and English EX Pats have replaced by various means four and we now need to raise funds for a fifth one. The concept is to be second hand Swiss fire engines, which new cost 1.2 million, fully equipped, are bought from the Swiss government at special rates and re equipped, service, re badged and donated to village fire service. Local support has continued this development and we now need to raise even more money for the next machine. Full management of the scheme will be available on line. the national government is still in catch up from 70 years of neglect. They are doing an amazing job. Hungary is an amazing place to live and visit. can you help us achieve the objective of creating more and giving a better service. if so please be generous. information is availabe
